Jewelry repair

Sizing and stone setting, done on site. One customer came in for an estimate on a ring that had gone out of shape, and it came back repaired and cleaned before they left. Other jewelers had quoted two to three weeks.

Watch repair

Every brand, regardless of age, and most pocket watches. Full mechanical and quartz servicing, done here.

Custom design and manufacture

Start to finish design and production of jewelry in your own style. We can set gemstones you already own, or remake an old piece you never wear.

Appraisals

Jewelry, diamonds, gemstones, sterling flatware and watches. We recommend re-appraising every five years, for insurance, estate tax evaluation, value comparison, casualty loss, divorce, collateral or barter.

Insurance replacement assistance

We identify jewelry of equal kind, quality and value to a piece that has been lost or damaged, and we bill insurance companies directly.

Silver refinishing

Broken serving pieces in sterling or silverplate, repaired. Antiques, resilvered.

Pearl and bead restringing

Pearls should be restrung every few years. Graduated and multi-strand necklaces are no problem.

Lab reports

An independent opinion on a diamond or gemstone. We help choose the right lab, ship it safely, and explain the terminology when it comes back.

Laser inscribing

We can inscribe a name or an ID mark on any diamond and most gemstones, even pearls. It is visible only under magnification.
